Drawing on two decades of clinical experience and his own journey with chronic illness, Dr. Bone speaks with patients, experts, and thinkers about how we carry pain, find meaning in the struggle, and reclaim a sense of dignity and humanity when life hurts. Dr. Jeffrey Bone is a licensed psychologist (PSY 20017) and the author of two collections of poetry, immune disorder-themed coloring book, and a chronic illness journal. He is also the host of the podcast, To The Bone: Conversations on Pain, Illness, and Meaning. He holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Kenyon College and earned his doctoral and master's degrees in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, San Diego. Dr. Bone specializes in chronic illness, chronic pain, mood disorders, trauma, and surgery preparation.
Dr. Bone is known for his patient-centered approach, using a combination of humanistic, existential, cognitive-behavioral, pain reprocessing, and mindfulness approaches to empower patients to cope with pain, reduce stress, and improve their overall quality of life.
